The Baseballs -- Sam, Digger & Basti! A rock and roll band founded in Berlin in 2007. They became popular with rock cover versions of modern hits such as ‘Umbrella’ and ‘Hot n Cold’.

Three certified, out-and-out rock’n'roll singers complete with rockabilly forelocks happened to meet in a tea room in a typical heavy metal rehearsal bunker in Berlin. They recognise each other based on their common hairstyle, start jamming and form a band whose debut album lands in shops across the country a little later. Sounds far-fetched? But it’s true.

While I was on break from blogging, Kings of Leon have released a new album. It’s quite different from the previous one; This album sound more tight, more complete and more mature… although I must admit that it took a few days to grow on me. And I still think that it lack the mainstream hits like Use somebody and Sex on Fire. Here’s the first single, Radioactive

I’ve been mostly dazzled by the rich bass lines carefully placed in each song -- amazing! and quite a lot to learn here for us bassists!

I was at first intrigued by how much this song sounds like something coming from The Killer, and then I got to know that actually Brandon Flowers is the frontman of the The Killers!
